BY ABID PAMPORI  Doda::The construction of hundreds of school buildings in mountainous Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir is incomplete even after a decade of starting work due to paucity of funds. National Council Member All India Students Federation (AISF) Mukesh Parihar said that condition of the schools are becoming worse. Same is the conditions most of the schools every zone in Distt Doda including Doda, Gandoh Bhallesa, Bhaderwah, Assar, Marmat, Gundna, Mahalla etc. Parihar said "Govt. Middle School Malwana, Zone Gundna lacks all basic facilities. In 2009, Government Primary School at Labad in the Assar area of Doda district was upgraded with the sanctioning of six additional rooms. However, eight years later, the structures are still awaiting completion forcing nearly hundreds of students to study in a single room. It is not the only school. This wall was constructed to  prevent the  entry of animals in the premises of the sub centre.Now the wall has been illegally demolished by the people on the directions of concerned authorities in rural development department block Ghat and a toilet is under construction there.     The question arises why the department is demolishing the infrastructures  constructed earlier? The wall was in good condition and a huge amount of money was spent on the construction of this wall. 3 Killed after Sumo plunges into river Chenab at Doda BY ABID PAMPORI Doda Jully 21:-    At least Three  died when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into mighty river Chenab near near Garsoo Pul Doda here today. An official said that a Tata Sumo on way to Doda from Charalla side met with the accident near Garsoo in Pul Doda and fell into river Chenab. Three  people were onboard the vehicle, bearing registration number JK06/ 5074 , when the accident took place. All are trapped in the river and rescue operation is launched by Doda Police. Those who are feared to have drowned were identified as Ravi Kumar (Driver) Son of Roshan Lal and Ishtiaq Ahmed (teacher)  Son of Manzoor Ahmed - both residents of Bacharra Chiralla while identity of third passenger could not be established immediately. The college students and staff are affected by the chaos due to the wrong parking of vehicles. Hanail- Sheya Dhar Yatra Concludes.  BY ABID PAMPORI  Doda:: The annual Chandi Mata Yatra from Hanail Gadyari to Shiya Dhar (Chandi Top ) commenced on 27th of June and culminated  on 30th June after paying obeisance at the holy temple of the Deity situated at Shiya Dhar in tehsil Bharath Bagla of Doda district.
