*Shahab conducts tour of several panchayats of Panchayat Loga & Panchayat Lower Bihota *

Doda: People’s Democratic Party, District President Doda Shahab ul Haque Butt  today conducted exclusive tour of  Panchayat Loga & Panchayat Bihota of Block Marmat of Doda Constituency.

Shahab was accompanied with senior party activists including Rashid Zargar,Sajad Ahmed Wani,Mohammad Sayed Wani,Hidayatullah Butt,Abdul Jabbar,and Liyaqat Ali.
The public corner meetings were held to listen the problems and difficulties faced by the People of these far flung areas.

During the visit Shahab  interacted with the people who apprised him with many problems and demands including day in payment of wages under MGNREGA, shortage of drinking water, poor medicare facilities and bad condition of roads. The residents projected the demand of construction of a bridge over  Khankha Nallah near Hambal. The bridge is very important for the connectivity of several villages. Shahad on the spot took up the matter with Works Minister Naeem Akhtar and requested him to issue direction upon the concerned authorities to construct the bridge for the convenience of the public.

Responding to other demands Shahab assured them that their genuine demands would be brought into the knowledge of concerned authorities and will be fulfilled as soon as possible.

However Shahab during the series of meetings with party workers appealed them to get united and work with dedication to strengthen the party at grassroot. He also said that Present coalition government has launched several welfare schemes and its the duty of the workers to aware general public regarding the schemes so that they can get the benefit.
