Blast Inside Government School ,Principal Injured

Doda::   Panic gripped Shiva village today when a  mysterious blast of mild intensity occured inside government Hr.Sec.School Shiva  at  around 9.30 am .

As per reports the  blast occurred in staff room of the School in which Mr Hoshyar Singh Principal of the school has been injured critically.

The injured officer  was shifted to DH Doda for treatment from where he has been referred to SMVD Narayana Superspeciality  Hospital Katra for specialised treatment. However his condition is stated  to be stable. 
 
On receiving the information regarding blast in HSS Shiva, a police party from PP Bhalla rushed to the spot to take cognizance of the case.  Upon priliminary invedtigations  it has been found that at around 9.20 am while the Principal alongwith  5/6 of his staff members entered the room , a  slow intensity blast occurred injuring Mr Hushyar Singh while some furniture items also caught fire.One lady staff member Mrs Sharifa has also received minor burn injurirs in the incident.

The fire was brought under control and injured shifted to hospital. Police has taken up the case for investigation to ascertain all the facts. Senior police officers including  SP Operations Doda Mr Ravinder Pal Singh ,SDPO Bhadarwah Mr Tousif Rishu and SI Sunil incharge PP Bhalla visited the spot for the  investigations and a case under  FIR NO.133 /2018 U/S 324 RPC,03 Explosive Substances Act has been registered with PS Bhadarwah in this regard .

Meanwhile FSL team from jammu has been requisitioned by SSP Doda who shall be reaching the spot soon to assertain the nature and cause of the blast.
