DDC Doda Inaugurates All India 14th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2018

Doda, June 23:- DDC Doda Bhawani Rakhwal inaugurates the All India 14th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship at sports stadium Doda here today.

The tournament is being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsered by 10RR Doda.

In this tournament Atleast 64 teams were including 20 teams from other states were participated.

The inaugural match was played between Nadu Cricket Club Chattisgarh and Final Cricket Club Doda.

DDC Doda Bhawani Rakwal, SSP Doda Mohd Shabir, CRPF K.L Dhiman, ACR Doda Tariq Hussain Naik, Major 10RR, Patron Manzoor Butt, Chairman YSCC Naseer Khora, various Political leader and large number of gathering were present.

Chief guest DDC Doda Bhawani Rakwal appreciated the role of Young Star Cricket Club Doda for organising such event from last 14 years.

He said, Gufran championship provide a requisite platform to the intrested youth in sports to show hidden talent of chenab region. It provide a big platform to playing with famous cricketers of International and IPL players.

BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
