Upgradation of High School Koti hailed by Public Koti

Doda::Public of Village Koti Doda organized a joyful get together in the premises of Govt. High School Koti to express their gratitude and thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Education Minister Choudhary Zalfkhar Minister of State Shakti Raj Parhar and President Peoples Democratic Party Doda Shahabul Haq Butt, Chief Education Officer Doda Mohd Sharief  for projecting  H.S Koti for elevation to the Status of Hr. Sec. School in the current Plan. 

The public praised the present political dispensation for projecting their  high altitude far flung  School for elevation where  there are minimal opportunities  of livelihood and majority of public earn their livelihood  by daily labour work  and are  unable to afford the continuation of education of their wards beyond 10th.  presently  dozen of 10th pass students long for further education but due to financial constraints they have been compelled to abandon their hopes. 

The recent move of upgradation of H.S Koti  to Hr. Sec. level has  brought a ray of hope into their diminishing  desires to keep pace with the rest of the regions of the District  as Hr. Sec. Sazan and Hr. Sec. Doda are at a distance of 06 hours journey to and fro an  impossible task for students. The public are great full the Headmaster of the School Firdoos Hussain, and staff members for their hard work, and dedication in the successful maintenance  and improvement of the school otherwise which was nearing collapse before their posting. The survey indicates start of 11th class will attract over hundred admissions  in the 11th Class because  137  students are enrolled in Secondary classes in the High School Koti.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16. Relatives and friendshave congratulated Mr Gazi and his family on this grand success.Majid Ali waniand Naseera Akthar from Ghat have expressed joy and happiness  and conveyed their best wishes and congratulations to him.
