ITI trained electricians calls on power minister, seeks jobs

Doda, May 29: ITI trained electrician diploma holders of Doda has today called on Power Minister, Sunil Sharma and urged him to provide jobs to them.

Electrician diploma holders of Doda Vijay Thaku ,Ganga Dhar Sharma ,Yasir Misger ,Akash Rana etc said they have been seeking employment in the department from past several years but nothing has been done by the successive governments for educated trained youths of Doda.

“We have great expectations from our power minister, who also belongs to Chenab region to adjust unemployed trained youth in any of their schemes. Many of the trained youths are at the stage of over age and we want government should adjust us without any further delay.” a trained ITI, youth said.

“In 2008, we were assured jobs by then government, but all vain, we are 550 youths as mostly the youth are belonged to poor families” they said.

Power, Minster Sunil assured “I will come up with cabinet proposal for the adjustment of trained technicians and hopefully all unemployed youth would be adjusted.”
