Residents allege use of inferior material in construction of canal

Doda::Peoples of village gulamna pershulla are not happy with the ongoing construction of irrigation cannel from assisi nalla to gulmana .As this canal is the only source of irrigation for more than 1000 kanals of land but the material used for the construction cleraly reveals that this cannal will not survive for more than six months. 

While talking to one of the local social activist Wahid Hussain informed that the material used is not proper as no sand is being used and instead of this cheap quality of dust is being used that seems to be improper for the construction,the ratio used for concrete purpuse seems to b 1/more than 15. 

Another social activist Zakir Hussain Mir revealed that the main contractor who has taken up this work has given this work to a hired self styled contractor. He further revealed that neither the main contractor nor any JE or supervisor has paid any visit to the said construction site and the they only visit for the purpose of making bills zakir further revealed. 

Local peoples of village gulmana revealed that govt is providing ample amount of money for developmental purposes but some peoples for their own sake and for their own benefits are filling their own pockets without taking into account that how much imporrant public works are and they needs to be done in judicious and proper manner.Locals also requested the officials to take action and give justice to peoples.

He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
