Demmand of cluster university and sanctioning Doda Dessa Kapran road for Doda

Doda:: public meeting was organised by Chenab citizen forum doda in  which large no of prominent persons from doda and Ramban district's were present . The main agenda of the meeting was sanctioning of cluster university for doda and approval for doda dessa kapran road. The meeting was presided by president CCF doda Mehboob A tak. The gathering among others was addressed by A. Q zargar .Mr Tak said that sanctioning of cluster university for doda is need of the time as doda has been ignored during the previous regims. 

University campus for Badharwah and kishtwar have already been sanctioned and are functional under Jammu university and BGSBU respectively.Doda being a central place in earstwile Doda district is the best location with regards to favourable weather conditions and best possible communal harmony. 

Forum members have also demmand setting up of High court bench for Doda.

Zagar in his address said that long pending demmand of Doda dessa kapran road be full filled which will boost the economy and tourism industry in the whole Chenab velly. forum president has also expressed pleasure and conveyed thanks to Hon; ble MLA Doda jenab S R Parihar. Dr Jatinder Singh Hon,ble union minister and Jenab sohab ul haq.PDP  president Doda for the efforts they are takeing for getting cluster university sanctioned for doda. Forum has also appeal to Dr jatinder Singh to sanction sports office for doda as has been done for kathua, and udhampur districts. 

The prominent members who attended the meeting are sham lal, krishan lal, khurshid misgar, Rashid sheikh, Dr basharat, Atta mohd, B A batt, M S Nalcha, and others.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
