Director Colleges Jammu and Kashmir visits GDC Doda.

Doda:::The Director Colleges, Higher Education Department Jammu and Kashmir Dr Zahoor Ahmad Chat along with his subordinate staff visited GDC Doda and interacted with the staff. He was recieved by the principal of the college Dr Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi whereas a guard of honour was presented by the NCC Cadets under the guidance of NCC Officer (Naval Wing) Dr Jamsheed Ahmad. In his welcome address the principal gave a detailed report of the college and put forward the demands. The principal thanked the director for his visit and assured him that the college administration would work tirelessly for the improvement of educational standard in the area. 

Later on the director took a round around the college campus and interacted with the students. He inaugurated two smart classrooms and expressed his satisfaction on the performance of the faculty and the principal. He ordered for the early completion of the ongoing projects and assured that the department shall soon construct a hundred bedded boys hostel, an examination hall, a block with eight classrooms, an auditorium and a research and analytical laboratory in the college. He congratulated the principal and faculty for the introduction of PG classes in English and Urdu. The director further took note of the demand regarding creation of atleast fifteen non-teaching and ten teaching posts.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
