Congress District Convention Held at Doda

Doda: A one day District Level Convention of Congress was held at Wani Manzil Doda today.  JKPCC President Mr Ghulam Ahmed Mir presided over the convention and all Congress leaders/workers of District Congress Committee /Black Congress Committee/Booth leaders /Frontal Organization, Unorganized Congress, NSUI, Youth Congress, Rajive Gandhi Panchayat Raj Group besides thousands of people attentted the convention.


 JKPCC President G A Mir, Ex Minister R&B Abdul Majid Wani, MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta,  Ex Minister Mohd Sharief Niaz, MLC Sham Lal Bhagat, Ex MLA Ashok Dogra, Shah Nawaz Choudhary, Mehboob Azad ,Nadeem Sharief JKPCC Sectary and dozens of other leaders addressed the gathering .

   Speaking on the occasion the Congress leaders  alleged that essence of democracy is being spoiled by the BJP (NDA) and BJP/PDP Govt in the entire country. Govt exists no where on the ground and is practically not visible but appears only in  papers. The speakers blamed that the Chief Minister is adamant to spoil the legal sanctity and special status of the state by hatching  consipiracies with the BJP and is responsible to bring the RSS culture in the state.

Agenda of the Congress has always remained development of the State and prosperity of the poor people of the State. Govt has no policy programme for the State to bring the crises under control .Loot is prevailing in the entire state, back- door employment is going on in every field including in the J&K Bank they alleged. 

Big Joke is being made with the 61000/- daily rated/workers while making regulations. G.A Mir also stressed upon the govt to engage local in the upcoming power projects and the govt adamant to defeat the Panchayat Raj System. Therevis need to hold the Panchayat Elections undervthe siprit of Act-73 amandent.

JKPCC president G.A Mir said that government has failed to hold elections as well as making  urban local bodies functional and is only meant to make their own houses...He also blamed that both parties are busy in looting the government treasuries instead of providing benefits to the people of state.

 G.A Mir also said that  from the day of  visit of Dineshwar Sharma  to till date his visit was useless   there was no result in the progress of state,he as well as centre government had no policy in order to improve the bad condition in the state..

He strongly Condemned today's killing of   policeman in kashmir and also said that government has completely failed in bringing peace to the state.

Dozens of BJP PDP and NC workers joined congress in presence of president JKPCC Ghulam Ahmed Mir and ex R&B Minister Abdul Majeed wani.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16. Relatives and friendshave congratulated Mr Gazi and his family on this grand success.Majid Ali waniand Naseera Akthar from Ghat have expressed joy and happiness  and conveyed their best wishes and congratulations to him.
