Doda::Dr Jamsheed Ahmad Assistant Professor (English) posted at GDC Doda has been felicitated by Hon'ble Minister of State (Forests, Environment and Ecology) Mr Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Mr Sakhti Raj Parihar hon'ble MLA Doda, Mr Noor Mohd Hon'ble MLA Batmaloo, Mr Bhawani Singh Rakhwal (KAS) DDC Doda, Mr Shabir Ahmed (KPS) SSP Doda on the occasion of 69th Republic Day which was celebrated at Sports Stadium Doda. He was honoured by the district administration for his meritorious services in field of of compering. It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Ahmad acted as Master of Ceremony during the Republic Day celebrations. His services have been utilised by the district and police adminstration in the past as well. Dr Ahmad is an orator par excellence and has participated in various national and international events.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
