DIET organises science Exhibtion at Doda.

Doda, October 15, 2017: District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Doda organized  two days science Exhibition under RMSA scheme at New Community Hall Doda, where  about 214 Models based on the themes as per RMSA guidelines were displayed.

    The Exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Education officer Doda Mohd Sharif who inspected each and every model and interacted with the participating students and their teachers. He appreciated the participants  representing different High and Higher secondary Schools from all over the district for  expressing the innovative and scientific aptitude through working models. He also expressed satisfaction over the functioning and role of DIET Doda in organizing a Mega event in the form of Science Exhibition.

       The valedictory and Prize distribution function was graced by Worthy Bhawani Rakwal  District Development commissioner Doda who also inspected the Exhibition and encouraged and appreciated the entire teaching fraternity for their efforts and contribution towards the preparation and participation in the district level science Exhibition.

      The first ten (10) Positions were shared by 12 Schools who were awarded a Cash prize of 1000 each by DC Doda.
  
        About six hundred fifteen (615) participating students and escort teachers were served with refreshment and lunch on the event.

       Principal DIET Doda Om Parkash expressed his gratitude and thanks to The DC for gracing the occasion and to boost the moral of the participants.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16. Relatives and friendshave congratulated Mr Gazi and his family on this grand success.Majid Ali waniand Naseera Akthar from Ghat have expressed joy and happiness  and conveyed their best wishes and congratulations to him.
