Winds of terror and fear blowing in Doda district due to braid cutting incidents

Doda::Since past two weeks there has been an increase in braid cutting incidents in 

Chinab Valley  and the associated villages due to which people especially women are afraid.Rumors are also on the sky.

 In concern with this matter, District Magistrate Doda Mr. Bhavani Rakwal has taken an crucial step and has regulated Article 144 in the town and outsiders like pheriwalas  laborers etc are strictly prohibited to move or reside freely in the town. 

President DRYWA Farid Ahmed Naik has appreciated this act of District Magistrate by saying that there has been many outsiders residing in the town without any permission from the authority and this makes a case to doubt the outsiders.

 President of  District Rural Youth Welfare Association Doda Mr. Farid Ahmed  Naik has said that DC Doda has taken an important step which should be appreciated and wished that this article should have been regulated earlier so that there would have been less braid cutting incidents. He said that there are many outsiders who come here for business and no one knows there identity.  

 Farid Ahmed Naik said that there should be complete checking of identities of already residing outsiders to get incidents of braid cutting incidents in control.

  Farid Ahmed Naik further added that there helping hands will always be open in case the authority needs help of Civil Society for the benefit of the  people of the town.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
