School Children Engaged in Domestic Work by Teachers.

Doda::Amazing it may sound but it is a reality that even in the 21st century children are deprived of their basic rights and forced by the teachers to become labourers.

The students of Government High School Chill in Kastigarh tehsil of Doda district were seen carrying heavy loads and heading towards the residence of their teacher during school hours . 

 Instead of being taught in the school the innocent children are being forced to do domestic work by none other than their teachers. 

     

District Rural Youth Welfare Association (DRYWA ) NGO has strongly condemned the unlawful act of teachers of H S Chill and demanded strict action against the erring teacher and urged the concerned authorities to initiate  enquiry into the matter and the culprits to be dealt sternly. 

 Talking to the news agency chairman of DRYWA Farid Ahmed Naik said that it is very unfortunate that the rights of our children are being violated and despite the tall claims of the government the ground realities are different.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
