GDC DODA organises rally on Sawachta hi sewa Hai

Doda::Today on 19 September 2017, Government Degree College Doda organised a rally on the theme “SWACHHATA HI SEVA HAI”. All the students of the college and  faculty under the supervision of the principal of the college, Dr. Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi took part in the rally. The NCC students of senior division army and naval wing along with other students  organised a cleanliness drive in and around the college campus. Later on a rally of  the students marched through the streets of Doda city carrying placards and banners regarding the theme. The students resorted to catchy phrases and sloganeering to sensitise the people and displayed a sense and responsibility for cleanliness and Clean India. They pledged to keep the surroundings clean and to preserve the environment. After a long march the rally culminated in the college where the principal appreciated the role of the students, faculty and NCC officer Prof Babu Ram for making the event a grand success. All the students were served refreshment at the end of the event.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
