AROGYA FOUNDATION OF INDIA Organizes Free Medical Camps Across Chenab Valley.

Doda::Arogya Foundation of India supported by  IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED organized free Medical and Heath Awareness Camps under  'Rishi Kashyap Swasthya Seva Yatra'  across Chenab Valley.
 
Dr Harish Anand Seh Youjna Pramukh  Arogya Foundation of India also visited the areas where these camps were organized and doctors and Medical students from various medical colleges and universities across the country provided free medical check up and counseling to the needy in rural areas of Doda, Bhaderwah and Kishtwar. 
     
 
A total of thirty doctors and fifty medical students including the local doctors besides paramedics from Health and Family Welfare Department Doda provided free medical facilities and health awareness to  2700 patients during  these camps organized at fifteen places in rural areas of Doda, and Kishtwar districts.
    
In Doda district the free medical camps were  held at Gwalote , Assisi,  Bijarni, Jodhpur,  Prabbal and Town .

Giving details of these free medical  camps Sh Neeraj Thakur Sambhag Pramukh of Ekal Abhiyan  said that such camps are being organized  as part of the nationwide campaign of Arogya Foundation of India  for the convenience of rural people with a view to provide free  health check up and create byhealth awareness among the masses who are either ignorant or can not afford to go to the hospitals. Vikas Pramukh  of Ekal Abhiyan  Raj Singh,   and Bhag Pramukh  Jasbir Singh along with all the Sanch pramukh and other workers of Ekal Abhiyan Smitti of bhag Chanderbhaga took keen interest and worked day and night to make this programme a grand success . Bhag president Gram Swaraj Manch Puri Singh Rana,  its general secretary Vipan Sharma and other office bearers of Ekal Vidyalaya Abhiyan Smitti also visited the areas and gave their full cooperation . The organizers expressed gratitude to the district administration especially the Health and Medical department Doda for giving full support and cooperation during these camps.

It is pertinent to mention here that Arogya Foundation of India is a sister organization of Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of India. Ekal Abhiyan is working for the welfare of people living in rural areas and is running many part time centers where basic education is given to the children in tribal and far flung areas under Prathmik Shikhsha . It also aims to create health awareness and provide medical facilities to the downtrodden in the society under Arogya Shikhsha.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
