Doda::Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Assistant Professor Chemistry, Govt. Degree College Kishtwar who has been invited as resource person in the annual three day Science Exhibition by Uttar Perdesh Council for Science and Technology demonstrated today a number of Science experiments to the Teachers, Students and General Public.

The said program on behalf of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. Of India is being organized by District Science  club Hapur at Smt. Kamla Agarwal Public School Hapur (UP) w.e.f 24-26 August 2017 and was inaugurated by Distric Magistrate Today.

It is worthwhile to mention here that Dr. Ashaq Hussain is actively involved in science activities and is a key resource person of Chemistry associated with Department of   Science and Technology. An expert in fun Chemistry experiments, simple task great concepts and simple hands on activity using low cost no cost material is the main tools are his main tools to enhances knowledge of various scientific Concepts to the budding young minds in a creative and simple way thereby inculcating scientific temperament in them.

Besides expertise in science activities he is associated as a National Evaluator with National Children Science Congress another Program of DST, Govt. of India.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16. Relatives and friendshave congratulated Mr Gazi and his family on this grand success.Majid Ali waniand Naseera Akthar from Ghat have expressed joy and happiness  and conveyed their best wishes and congratulations to him.
