Choudhary asks party workers to reach out to needy people*

Doda::People's democratic Party MLC ,Mr Surinder Choudhry ,visited Chenab valley at the behest of party leader Ms. Mehbooba Mufti. 

In a conclave organised at 'Gulistan-e-Jabeen',head office Doda, Mr Surinder said that the government is unbiasedly working for the development of the entire state with special focus on the chenab valley. He emphasised that even though the current situation in the state has hampered the pace of development,  but the government under the guidance of CM Mehbooba Mufti is pushing for a better future. He assured the party workers that in the tutelage of party leader Ms. Mehbooba Mufti they are in safe hands. Mr Surinder also entrusted the party workers with all the people-centric policies of the government and reaching the needy with them. Speaking on the occasion Mr Satpal Charak  ,State President PDP farmer cell, said that people should avail themselves of all the facilities that the government has provided for agriculture and horticulture.

            

  Many disillusioned former members of various political parties showed their faith in the party and were welcomed in PDP's fold by District president PDP Doda Mr Shahab Ul Hague Butt in presence of all the guests. The newest members of the party included Ali Mohammad sheikh (ex panch shodan),Ghulam Hassan (ex panch manthori),Atta Ullah Malik (Bagwah), Ajay Kumar (Bari Shai),Waseem Ahmed Batt (Charoote),Fayaz Ahmed Attu (Charoote) ,Babar Jan and Noor ud Din Khan (Parshola) among others. 

 

In the concluding address Mr Shahab ul Haque Butt said that Doda has witnessed extensive developmental work notwithstanding the current unease in the state and the future will see more of it. 

 He said " PDP government oversaw the creation of the Office of Assistant Director, education in Doda. A polytechnic college and a medical college have been granted for the people of Doda. The construction of Ganpat Bridge ,which was in abeyance for the past 10 years, has been completed. We provided better road connectivity , the erratic supply of electricity has been dealt with. Public health services,rural development  and education facilities have extensively been made available. The mafia has been weeded out from the public works department."

Mr Shahab said that the government was contemplating establishing a cluster university under RUSA and JK BOSE Doda for the upliftment of doda region.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
