Doda, 15 August  2017:Bolck Development  Officer Marmat  Yasir Wani was awarded by the District Administration Doda on the eve of 71Ist  Independence day celebration at Sport Stadium  Doda, for his outstanding services in the field of Rural Development .

The said award was presented to him by Minister for cooperatives & ladakh affairs Chering Dorjay who Unfurled the National Flag at sports Stadium  DODA.

Mr Yasir Wani  is one of the most honest, dedicated, punctual and hardworking personalities of District Doda. He has done outstanding job for the upliftment and betterment of Rural Development  sector in District Doda.

Along with District Administration Doda, many other personalities and organisations congratulated  BDO Marmat  for the said achievement.

BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
