Absence of ZEO hits functioning of educational zone Bhatyas

Doda, July 31: Since the transfer and postings of incumbent ZEO, the vacuum has not yet filled by the state government, which is still lying vacant, owing to which the office related work has been hit. Delay in posting of ZEO Bhatyas is affectingh the normal functioning of the offices in Bhatyas zone of the district. As per official strength only one post of ZEO is sanctioned which is also lying vacant for the last two months, describing the failure of the authorities to fill the posts, which is eventually hitting the functioning of the Education department at zonal level.
JKReTTTF District President DODA, Ishaq Rashid said that the DSE Jammu ordered Principal HSS Thathri to take ZEO Bhatyas as additional charge, but he categorically refused to take additional task. Meanwhile, teachers from different zones without ZEOs complained that their official files, salary bill and other routine officials task get stuck in the offices for prolonged time due to non-availability of ZEO in the office..
