Doda::Prof. Dr. Shafqat Hussain Rafiqui joined as new principal at GDC Doda on Wednesday . He was given very warm welcome by teaching, non teaching staff members and students of the college. In his interactive speech he said that being a principal, I have a strong belief to promote harmony, dedication and a win win scenarios of for everyone in college. Harmony can be interpreted as ' team cohesion ' . He further added that as long as we have a dedicated team aiming for the same goals, anything can be achieved. Moreover, he emphasised on a continuous and sustainable advancement in learning and teaching in GDC Doda. Among the staff members present were Prof. Falak staff secretary GDC Doda, Prof. Babu Ram, Dr. Ajaz Ahmed, Dr. Wahied Khawar Balwan, Prof. Ajay, Prof. Yasir, Dr. J I Tramboo, Prof.Basher Ahmed Dr. Jamsheed Ahmed and other faculty members.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16. Relatives and friendshave congratulated Mr Gazi and his family on this grand success.Majid Ali waniand Naseera Akthar from Ghat have expressed joy and happiness  and conveyed their best wishes and congratulations to him.
