Doda markets flooded with customers ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr

Doda, June 24: Doda town is witnessing huge rush of shoppers as the Muslims are preparing to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of holiest month of Ramzan during which followers are required to abstain from food, end of month of fasting, in next week.

Just days to go before the Eid celebrations begin preparations to celebrate the religious event are in full swing throughout the district. As per details, a large number of people from the town and outskirts of district Doda thronged markets to give last touch to their preparations of Eid-ul-Fitr, as it is approaching with all its attractions.

It is observed that the shopping spree peaked during the last weekend of Ramzan as children and women remained busy in buying their accessories matching with their Eid dresses including shoes, jewelries etc. The Markets seemed crowded as majority of the people visit markets sparing time from their daily routine.
