Kishtwar:  To take stock of problems being faced by the people of Sigdi area of Inderwal constituency People's Democratic Party District President Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain conducted an extensive tour of the area and held public meetings at Mulchiter, Zabkul and adjoining areas. He gave a patient hearing to the problems being faced by the people and assured them to reflect their demands to the concerned authorities. 

During his visit Sheikh Nasir met various party workers who raised their issues regarding their problems. While addressing series of public meetings he assured the people that their genuine problems will be taken up with concern authorities.

While addressing the party workers Sheikh Nasir  said that he has focused his attention to upgrade and improve the living standard of the people of the far flung areas, especially the weaker sections of the society. Sheikh Nasir assured the party workers that he will always remain available for them and will fight for their causes at all costs.

During the  tour Nasir found depilated condition of Roads and during his interaction with people of the locality they complaint about irregular power supply as majority of the areas are still un-electrified for which he holds local MLA responsible. He has also said that concerned MLA forget about how to use his CDF and the same is being misused.

He said development of rural belts of the state shall continue to remain a top priority for the Government and administration must focus attention towards these areas. ”Development of far-flung areas is the prime and foremost priority of the present Government and every possible step is being taken for achieving this purpose”. He said that PDP government led by Ms. Mehbooba Mufti is committed for improving and upgrading the existing infrastructure with regard to roads, health infrastructure, water supply, educational uplifting, jobs and power projects. 

Sheikh Nasir also visited the house of Mohd Yousaf Shah at Mulchiter who died last week after a brief illness and expressed his heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the family.

Sheikh Nasir was accompanied by Mohd Hanif Sheikh Block President Sarthal, Nazir Ahmad Lone district Secretary local senior leaders Duni Chand Sharma, Master Som Nath, Abdul Rashid Butt, Zakir Hussain Dev, Jaffer Hussain Ganie, Tanveer Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad and Firdous Ahmad.
