Doda ; 13 May 2017 In order to continue the swacchata week ,

The awarness programme was conducted by the District Administration ACD Doda Akther Hussain Qazi along with District Panchayat officer Kewal kumar Sharma to launch a Anti-polythene drive at Thathri Block of Doda district.

Managment of Ex-servicemen public high school has extended full cooperation and the childern of school took out a rally from Main Bazar of Thathri to sensilize the general public regarding ban on use of polythene. Cleanliness drive was also launched and polythene was also collect from slops.

The students were senisitized about the hazardous the hazardous effect  of the polythene and appealed them to be protect your areas , not to use any kind of polythene and the environmental free.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
