Kishtwar,  May 07:  People's Democratic Party's, District President Kishtwar, Sheikh Nasir Hussain and District President Doda, Shahub ul Haq today visited the affected families of Bhatyas and Malikpura fire incidents to take stock of the situation and offered help to the families . Over 40  structures including residential houses and shops  were gutted two weeks ago in Village Batyas and Malik Pura of inderwal constituency.
    An official spokesman said the on the instruction of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Minister for relief and rehabilitation, Abdul Rehman veeri, District President Kishtwar and District President Doda,  Nasir and Shahab personally visited to the families of fire victims. 

      During the visit, District President Kishtwar,   Sheikh Nasir said that state government led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has already issued direction to the district administration for disbursing of relief to the fire victims of both areas.

  He said that during their visit  people lamented that administration has disbursed nothing to them in shape of relief not even out of red cross funds. 

    whereas, Sheikh Nasir  said that delay in disbursement of relief is the failure on the part of local administration and not of government as it has even failed to disburse the assistance from Red Cross. 

  They (Nasir and Shahub) on spot telephonically contacted Minister for relief and rehabilitation, Abdul Rahman Veeri and apprised him of ground situation , Minister told them that the relief have already been sanctioned to district administration. However Minister informed that matter has been discussed with Chief Secretary  and for further relief final nod is to be given by Him. 

They said that party leaders are  continuously  in contact with the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and concerned Minister  for giving well assistance to the people of both villages of Goundoh. 
     They has assured all possible support to affected families.  
    During the tour the district presidents also addressed party workers meet at Kahra and Bhatyas and asked party workers to work on ground and remain available for the people. 

Among others who accompanied District Presidents include district general secretary Abdul kabir Butt,  District vice president  Ab.  Redman Kashmiri,  Block President Kahra Mehboob Ahmad,  Block President Drabshalla Mohd Hanif Sheikh,  block president Bonjwah Abid Malik,  General Secretary District Youth Sajad Khukhar,  senior leaders Asrar Hussain,  Sajad Ahmad Harga, Waseem Tak,  Tanveer Ahmad,  Abdul Latif Butt,  Mushtaq Ahmad Koka, Alfad Hussain,  Ajaz Parry,  Shahnawaz Mir, Shahnawaz Parry.
