Career guidance programme organized at GHSS Mohalla

Doda, May 27th:- A career guidance programme for girl students under RMSA was organized at Govt. HSS Mohalla today. A very simple but impressive function was held in which two hundred students 80 girls including 19 girls from 12th class and 120 boys participated in addition to staff members/ SMDC, Member/Parents and guests.

Dr. Ravinder Singh, Medical Officer Govt. Ayurvedic Dispensary was the chief guest on the occasion and Naib Tehsildar Mohalla, Surat Ram was the guest of honour.

The function was presided over by the Principal HSS Mohalla, S.Daljeet Singh, Principal of the school, Sumeiya Bano Teacher, Aehraz latief Teacher and Manzoor Hussain Teacher acted as resource person and threw light on the topic in department. Proceedings of the function were conducted by Vikram Singh Teacher.

Booklets provided to the institution containing detailed information regarding student’s career were issued to the girls students. Refreshment was also distributed amongst all the participants including students, staff and guests. While concluding the function, vote of thanks was presented by Manzoor Hussain Teacher.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
