Career Guidance For Girls Held at, H S S Ghat.

Doda::To provide guidance and counseling to the girls at secondary and higher secondary level ,an impressive program was held at Govt. Hr. Sec.School Ghat today.

Mohd Ashraf Rather Chief Education Officer Doda was the chief guest on this occasion. Officers from various fields including CO 10 RR,  Deputy Director Employment and Counseling Center Doda, BDO Ghat Mujeeb Latief , Dr Zia Shokat Mughal and Dr Rozi  delivered guest lectures to the audience and provided valuable information regarding various career options for girls after secondary and higher secondary level .

This program was organized under the guidance of RMSA.

Principal H S S Ghat Shahida Khan welcomed the guests and highlighted various facts and figures of the instruction.

Speaking on the occasion Mohd Ashraf Rather chief education officer Doda advised the students especially the girls to adhere to the guidance and counseling provided to them and pursue their goals. He assured that the department is committed to provide the basic infrastructure and other facilities for the students and said that the ICT lab will soon be made functional in this school.

Sh Varinder Singh senior lecturer presented the vote of thanks while Sh Mohd Hafiz Anzar  conducted the proceedings of the program.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16. Relatives and friendshave congratulated Mr Gazi and his family on this grand success.Majid Ali waniand Naseera Akthar from Ghat have expressed joy and happiness  and conveyed their best wishes and congratulations to him.
