2 died in Doda Alto Accident

Doda::;May 15: The blood bath on vulnerable roads in Chenab Valley continues as 2 people including a medical Department employee died in yet another tragic Accident at Pul Doda on Kishtwar-Batote National Highway.

As per the details available with , an Alto Car bearing registration No. JK06-4742 on its way from Sharerna to Doda meet with an accident after driver of the Ill fated vehicle fails to control over his vehicle on a rough surfaced road as a result of which it falls into the gorge on the bank of river Chenab.

As soon as the Accident took place, large number of people immediately rush to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of police. During the search of the ill fated vehicle, the rescue team found three people trapped inside the vehicle. On retrieving the persons trapped inside the vehicle, the persons were found dead on spot and shifted the other critically injured person to District Hospital Doda where he too scumb to his injuries.

The deceased were identified as Ajeet kumar Son of Pana Lal,  Rishi Kumar Son of Shahdi Lal (Medical Employee) and Surjeet Kumar all resident Sharena Doda.

The people blame poor roads for continuous accidents in Chenab Valley and called for immediate attention for the government towards improving the road connectivity in erest while Doda District.

Meanwhile several Social, political and non political persons express grief and sorrow over the loss of life in today's Accident.
