Sharooe village lacks road connectivity

Doda, Apr 5: Sharoore village is located just 9 km west of Doda town and newly created ward no 7 of Phty Kotli comprising 60 households but totally neglected area being forward since 1970 .
Handwas Bridge was sanctioned in 2012 Road namely Handwas to Dharouth via Sharore and tender was called on 2012 and work was allotted to two contractors but after 5 years the authorities concerned are unable to start work till date.
Locals also castigated political parties and department on the one pretext and other the forest department is delaying the NOC deliberately while other roads in district are completed within a period of 6 months.

It is step motherly treatment with this village the concerned authorities are assuring us since 4 years but situation is worsening day by day as they are playing the sentiments of the people. There are tall claims of development but we lack basic amenities. 

This discrimination with us we want justice on democratic level and will start agitation and even boycott the election if the work of said road may not be started within 15 days, threatened people of village.

They appealed R&B and Forest minister to personal intervene as soon as possible so that their dream becomes true.

He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
