Doda, 18th April :The chenab Valley Reserved categories Empowerment Alliance (jkrcea) celebrated the 126th birth Anniversary of Dr, Bhim Rao Ambedkar at town hall Doda here on Tuesday . An impressive function presided over by Mr joginder Singh Rai, President jkrcea chenab Valley was attended by hundreds of people from across the chenab region of different section of society. M L C Sham Lal Bhagat was the chief guest while Sr leader of SC welfare Doda unit Sh Ram Sarn Bhagat was the guest of Honour. Paying rich tributes to Dr. Ambedkar, Mr Rai address reminded the people of the historic role played by. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and recall the contribution of eminent Indian jurist, Economist, politician and social reformer who inspired Dalit communities and fight against the  discrimination of untouchables,while B.R Ambedkar fought for right of women and Labour, He became the first law minister of free India and appointed as chairman of the constitutional drafting committee, In constitution he assured constitutional guarantee and protection for all section of the society and out lawing  of all forms of discrimination. Mr Rai awarded the huge gathering about the political ill will of the government in miss guiding the people of reserved categories right from the begining to till date.Mr Rai president chenab Valley further appealed to CM of jammu & kashmir to implement SC stay order to safe guard the right of reserved categories people including SC /ST /RBA /OSC otherwise it will damage the social democratic structure of the state. MLC Sham Lal Bhagat in his address paid rich tributes to B. R.Ambedkar describe him a great visionary leader to every section of the society one should follow him and he worked for the betterment of welfare of downtrodden and untouchables classes,He believed in liberty, equality and fraternity. Other who spoke on occasion Sanjay Bhagat Sr vice president Doda, Jaffer Hussain, Girdhari Lal Bhagat, Ratan Lal, Surjeet Bhagat , Rakesh Atter, Kuldeep Kumar, Gori Lal Bhagat, Manmeet kashyap and Mohd Ishaq naik.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
