Dr Jamsheed Ahmad presented a paper in Two Day National Conference at PG College Rajouri.

Doda::Dr Jamsheed Ahmad Assistant Professor of English at Govt Degree College Doda participated and presented a paper in two-day National Conference at PG College Rajouri. The conference on Interdisciplinary Sciences and Humanities was organised on 15-16 March 2017. Professors, scholars and researchers from around ten states of the country participated in the said conference. Honourable Minister of Jammu and Kashmir for CAPD Zulfikar Ali Choudhary was the chief guest in the valedictory function of the conference.  It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Jamsheed has presented around ten papers in different universities across the country. He has participated in various international conferences in the past. Having various national/international publications to his credit, Dr Ahmad was, in the past,  invited by Vardamaan Mahavir Open University Kota Rajasthan to prepare question papers for UG and PG students. His short lecture on John Keats has been recorded and is available on the website of VMOU Kota.
In an exclusive talk with our correspondent Dr Ahmad said, "I would suggest the students to go for higher education in central universities so that they can get proper exposure. There are several institutions across the country where high level research is being carried out. Our students should go for research in those institutions and should go abroad for studies". He further added that his services and guidance are always available for the students who want to go for higher studies.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
