CMY Trust Holds Meeting at Doda.

Doda:: A general meeting cum oath ceremony of Chounda Mata Yatra Trust Chandi Top Shiya Dhar  district Doda  was held on Sunday April 22, 2018  at Ram Leela Ground Doda under the chairmanship of Advocate C  L Thakur  Settler of the Trust.
   

Sh Phulail Singh Bandral KAS was the chief guest on the occasion and Sh Puri Singh Rana president   Gramswaraj Manch and Dr Manish Thakur secretary Ekal Abhiyan anchal Doda  were the guests of honour. President CMY Trust C P Thakur, general secretary Amrik Singh ,cashiers Sh Shadi Lal and Sh Kikar Singh along with other trustees and members of different Yatra groups from Dessa , Bheyana, Gaadi, Doda -Kuluhand , Koti, Dhar, Gadyari  Dudwah  were present in the meeting. 
  
The meeting began with lighting of Jyoti (lamp)and  chanting of  Aarti (prayers). After the aarti an oath session was held in which  the trutees and other participants pledged  to work honestly and selflessly for the Trust.
  
During the meeting various issues related to  the development of basic infrastructure at the Holi Temple of Chandi Top  Shiya Dhar were discussed and it was decided unanimously that all the yatra gruops should extend full cooperation to the CM Y Trust and also clear all the pending liabilities . Sh Amrik Singh general secretary of the trust highlighted the future course of action and also highlighted the broblems being faced due to financial and other  reasons. PresidentCMY Trust  C P Thakur while expressing his views urged the constituent yatra groups to join hands so as to make the programme successful.
     
Addressing the meeting Sh Chuni Lal Thakur asked the members to maintain the sanctity  of the Trust and  work  with devotion and  honesty for strengthening and expansion of  its area of activity.
   
Speaking on the occasion Sh Phulail Singh stressed the need to maintain mutual  understanding and  cooperation so that the aims and objectives of the trust are achieved . He said that accountability and  trasparency should  be maintained by the trustees while executing various deeds . He assured full cooperation and participation in the activities of CMY Trust in future also.

The meeting was organised by YMC Koti Doda and the trutees and settler CMY Trust thanked the president and members of YMC Koti for their cordial hospitality and cooperation in making the meeting a grand success.

Doda Boy Gazi Bashir Wani Awarded Gold Medal By Kashmir University. BY ABID PAMPORI Doda::  Gazi Bashir Wani S/O Bashir Ahmed Wani ,Shakeela Begum of Ghat village in Doda district has been awarded  gold medal  at the  convocation of Kashmir University  today. He was the topper from Central University Kashmir in mathematics and got first position by securing 93 % marks in the year 2015-16.
